Taylor Made Da Prince: The King of Love Rap

Taylor Made Da Prince (born Lathario Beshon Taylor) is an American rapper, singer, and entrepreneur from Winnsboro, South Carolina. Known as the “King of Love Rap,” Taylor Made carved out his own lane by combining heartfelt R&B melodies with hip-hop storytelling, creating music that centers love, relationships, and life experiences instead of following typical industry trends. Inspired by Ja Rule’s early 2000s melodic style, he describes his sound as “Love Rap”—a signature vibe that has kept his fanbase locked in for over two decades.
Beginning his music journey at just 10 years old, Taylor Made has grown into a respected independent powerhouse, releasing 14 studio albums and earning a Billboard 200 single. His long-running Love Lectures series, now on its 7th chapter, stands as a major part of his legacy, inspired by the emotional impact of Ja Rule’s Pain Is Love. His standout records like “Smile” and “Off My Mind”—which adds Afrobeat flavor to his signature sound—showcase his ability to evolve while staying true to his message.
Beyond music, Taylor Made is the CEO and founder of Starbound Music Group, where he continues building opportunities as an executive and creative leader. He has also expanded into acting with appearances in four independent films, including the comedy Who’s Hiring? on Tubi. As he works toward a highly anticipated “retirement album,” Taylor Made is preparing for his next chapter focused on A&R, songwriting, real estate, and investing.
Raised in Fairfield County, South Carolina, Taylor Made credits his late grandfather, Gable Gadson, as a major motivation behind his drive and success. A devoted husband and father, he often shares that his biggest mission is to grow as a man, provide for his family, and lead with love—both in life and in music.
