Paying Homage While Building Legacy — 315CA$H’s Respect for Hip Hop

True hip hop artists understand the importance of honoring the culture. 315CA$H has consistently paid homage to the legends who paved the way, most notably with his tribute single “WuTangThang.”

Originally featured on his 25toLife mixtape, the song was later released as a standalone single in 2024 — complete with a powerful music video filmed in Staten Island’s Park Hill and Stapleton Projects, the birthplace of Wu-Tang Clan. The visuals feature historic murals and landmarks, reinforcing Cash’s deep respect for hip hop history.

That respect didn’t go unnoticed. In 2025, 315CA$H opened for Masta Killa of Wu-Tang Clan at the Westcott Theater, performing “WuTangThang” and meeting the legend backstage — a full-circle moment years in the making.

In a genre that values authenticity, Cash continues to prove that knowing where the culture came from is essential to pushing it forward.
