Although music was always a dream encouraged by his mother, life led him through a difficult path that included a seven-year prison sentence. During that time, he also experienced the devastating loss of both of his parents, which deeply changed his outlook on life and pushed him to take music seriously as a purpose rather than just a passion.
One of his biggest personal inspirations was his close friend Asia, who he considered like a sister. She supported him during his lowest moments, gave him a place to go when he had nowhere else, and constantly encouraged him to pursue music. Her tragic passing due to gun violence remains one of his strongest motivations.
