A Comeback Built on Persistence and Vision: Inside Big Jon’s Journey From Independent Releases to Bigger Goals

Since returning to music, Big Jon has been steadily rebuilding his career. After releasing his EP on January 1st, 2025, he spent the year performing at open-mic venues throughout Baltimore. Along the way, he appeared on podcasts, received media coverage, and was interviewed by Chicago 77.3, expanding his reach.
Later in 2025, Big Jon recorded Level Up at Lounge Studios in New York City on September 3rd. In October, he recorded Don’t Mess With the Flock in Baltimore, a diss track aimed at the Ravens organization and their playoff struggles in the Lamar Jackson era. The track was released on November 5th, 2025.
He followed with Persona on December 24th and is currently preparing The Flames for a January release. Despite progress, Big Jon continues searching for management to help elevate his career. His long-term goals include touring nationally and collaborating with major artists.
After losing his grandmother in October at age 89 due to kidney failure, Big Jon made a promise at her funeral in November to continue pursuing his dreams.
Looking to 2026, Big Jon plans to record Reload in Los Angeles in March and continue performing and networking.
